The "Shower Myth" Explained
Can I shower with my 200m Diver? NO. This is the #1 way people ruin expensive watches. Water resistance ratings are for pressure, not heat. Hot steam expands the rubber gaskets, and soap lowers surface tension, allowing moisture to bypass seals.
30 Meters (3 ATM)
Reality: Splash proof only. Rain and hand washing are fine. Do NOT submerge.
50 Meters (5 ATM)

100 Meters (10 ATM)
Reality: Safe for swimming and snorkeling. The minimum for peace of mind.
Apple Watch Ultra

- Rolex Submariner: 300m. Safe for saturation diving.
- Standard Apple Watch: Series 7/8/9 are "Swimproof" (50m), but avoid high velocity (Jet Ski).
